Descriptions
Color has become an exciting new avenue for me as I emerge from a period of study and experimentation, particularly using photos as a form of expression. I’ve developed a real affinity for what I can achieve with this medium. One day, I had a vision of a light breaking down into its various colors, which inspired me to explore how I could incorporate more color into my work. For years, I avoided color, preferring to focus on storytelling without the potential distraction it can sometimes bring. However, after listening to feedback from my viewers over time, I’ve decided to experiment more with it. Reimagining my characters was the perfect opportunity to introduce color while advancing my pursuit of pushing stippling into the realm of pointillism.

Explosion
I began exploring a new direction in my work, combining fine art with commercial elements. This shift involved blending art with advertisement, a step toward introducing my character, Shun, in a subtle but impactful way. Coming from a fine art background, I wanted to maintain that foundation while branching into something different. As I worked on creating a comic book featuring Shun, I found myself imagining him in commercial spaces. Living in Los Angeles and driving for Uber, I often passed the billboards on Sunset Boulevard and envisioned Shun in that kind of large-scale advertisement. This marked the beginning of a creative breakthrough for me.​

The Dot Man
The skateboarding industry inspires this. Since I have a background in this industry I find it pleasing to go back to my roots however this character will be in my comic book to come.

Missty
So this is a part of this series that I was called the conform. And it was a sci-fi version of the pandemic. So the red is a representation of how the pandemic was so deadly to us and that it came in the form of a mist for some people who were caught. So the Missty was an original fungus produced by the aliens that used it on the humans that inhaled it.

Arcade Jungle
​
This piece is a tribute to the 80s arcade scene, a significant part of my childhood and that of many in my generation. Growing up with video games, the experience of going to arcades—surrounded by the sounds of loud games and the excitement of people playing—was unforgettable. In one of Shun's comic book episodes, I wanted to capture that nostalgia by having him enter a world dedicated to iconic arcade characters from the 80s.
