My son was climbing out of his crib by the time he was 21 months old, so we had to design a toddler room a little earlier than we had planned to. I wish he had been old enough to give us his input. We went with a sports theme because my husband had his heart set on it. Now that my son is three, his interest include cars, trucks, trains, and airplanes. He is not the least bit interested in sports so his room holds little appeal for him.
